Best Of The Reds

I’ve always been a lover of red lips. No matter how I’m feeling a red lip can always make me feel better and brighter 🙂 So without any further adieu, here are my favourite products for the perfect red lip for any time.

Best Winter/ Evening Red

Revlon’s super lustrous lipstick in 075 Blackberry. It’s a berry red which is perfect for the colder moths or perhaps an evening out. Due to it’s creamy texture it can be difficult to apply, but paired with a good lip liner it’s gorgeous.

Best Budget Red

Essence lipstick in 03 dare to wear. Essence is a really affordable brand here in South Africa and is definitely one of my favs. I love that this shade it has a slightly pink look on the lips and that it lasts a reasonably long time for a creamy lipstick.

Best Summer/ Daytime Red

Clinique rouge lipstick in 15 Orange burst. This is an orangey red, hence the name. It’s really bright which makes it perfect for a bright summer statement look and has a subtle sparkle that I love.

Best In A Rush Red

Revlon just bitten kissable lipstain in 045 Romantic. This is probably my most used red lipstick, because it’s so easy to apply. It’s creamy and you can just swipe it on making it the best pick for when you don’t have time to line your lips. It also has a minty scent and stings slightly when you apply it which I personally like.

Best Red Gloss

Yardley Stayfast Supershine lipgloss in rocking red.  Even though I’m more of lipstick girl I really enjoy using this product, it lasts really long and gives an opaque colour to the lips, it also smells nice and fruity.
